Single point of contact and notification about illegal content

Contact point and Notice and Action mechanism for Joom users and third parties: If you are a Joom user or any other third party, you can file a notice on the information you consider to be illegal on Joom based on the EU Digital Services Act (”DSA”). You can find two electronic forms on each product page for the submission of notice of allegedly illegal content: a link named 'Report illegal content' below the product description of each product, and a link named 'Report review' attached next to each product review. Such electronic forms serve as the single and accessible means of contact for this purpose.

We encourage you to visit our Help Centre via Joom website (click here) or engage in a live chat with our dedicated customer service team within our mobile application.

To exercise your personal data subject-related rights in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, please refer to our Privacy Policy or send your request to privacy@joom.com.

Contact point for authorities and trusted flaggers and the Board: The single point of contact for Member State’s authorities, the European Commission, the Board according to Article 11 of the DSA and Trusted Flaggers according to Article 22 of the DSA, is compliance@joom.com. You may use this point of contact to submit an order to act against illegal content based on the information below, or communicate regarding regulatory or compliance matters including the DSA Regulation.

The role of Joom: Joom is a platform used by sellers who offer their products to customers. Sellers are fully and solely responsible for any information related to their products presented to you. Acting as an intermediary service provider, Joom is not responsible for information published by sellers on the Joom platform, and sellers remain solely liable for any violation of any applicable legislation by the content they publish. Joom reserves any rights of defence with regard to any liability that may arise due to the reported content or actions taken by Joom upon receipt of your notification.

Notification content: Please include in your notification or order any information you consider to be relevant. We will need at least a link or links (URLs) to the pages containing allegedly illegal information, and sufficiently substantiated information on why you consider the content you are notifying us about to be illegal. Your notification or order shall be transmitted in English or Latvian. Transmitting a notification or order in another language without a translation into English or Latvian or without the reasonably required level of detail, processing of the notification or order may take additional time, or may be unsuccessful.

Further actions: We will carefully consider the information you provide us with and will inform you of our decision. When taking decisions and further actions, we may have to communicate the information you submit to third parties (i.e. to those who allegedly published the illegal content, and/or to relevant authorities and attorneys). For this purpose, you grant us a worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works of, and disclose your notification’s content by any means of communication we may consider appropriate and required.

When submitting a notification, you automatically confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, the information you provide us with is accurate, valid and complete.

IMPORTANT: You are responsible for the information that you report, and by doing so you agree to incur any civil and/or criminal liability if the information and allegations submitted are found to be inaccurate, misleading or false.
