Functional action:
Black elderberry has been known for its medicinal properties for centuries. The entire plant is used for treatment in folk medicine: flowers, bark, berries, leaves and root. Black elderberry is rich in biologically active substances: glucosides, fatty and organic acids, essential oils, anthocyanins, triglycerides, amino acids, carotenoids, tyrosine, resins, tannins, etc.
The presence of Vitamin C in its composition (up to 50%) makes it possible to use black elderberry as an anti-inflammatory, disinfectant, bactericidal, and diaphoretic (effective in the treatment of influenza, respiratory diseases and colds). It also has a choleretic, diuretic effect and is used in the treatment of mastopathy, various types of tumors (prostate adenoma), in the initial stages of cancer. Elderberries remove radionuclides, heavy metal salts from the body. Black elderberry has a persistent immunomodulatory effect.
Application:
Adults: 2 teaspoons (10 ml) per day. Children: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) per day.
