Set up and place the rod extension under the lead arm and gently set it aside. 3. Without hitting the ball, take a few slow, short, deliberate practice swings while moving the rod away from the lead side in a through swing, ending with your arms just above your waist. It should feel like you're taking a "punch shot" under a tree branch.
