COLOR-SKOPAR 28mm F2.8 Aspherical VM Type I/II is a high-performance wide-angle lens that focuses on easy handling with rangefinder cameras. By adopting the latest optical design and aspherical lens, it maintains the same optical performance as our VM mount lens ULTRON Vintage Line 28mm F2 Aspherical, while achieving extremely compact styling by suppressing the aperture F value to F2.8. With an extremely compact exterior, this lens combines the maneuverability of a rangefinder camera as a snap shooter with the joy of owning a beautiful exterior design. The optical system uses 8 elements in 5 groups, including 1 double-sided aspherical lens. The optical design of this lens has been optimized for use with rangefinder-equipped digital and film cameras, but it is also intended for use with mirrorless digital cameras using a mount adapter, making it compatible with a variety of platforms beyond rangefinder-equipped cameras. All models come with their own screw-on metal hood and slip-on metal front cap. The use of a rotating helicoid system gives it a nostalgic look, and the exterior of the lens is made of brass.
